Alva Gallery is the brainchild of Alva Greenberg, an art collector and journalist whose father, Hank Greenberg, is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. The gallery exhibits a wide range of local and international contemporary works. Past shows include Who's on First, a blend of sculptures, paintings, and photographs about baseball; the oil paintings of Brian K. Stephens; and the political images of Russian-American photographer Sasha Rudensky. The gallery lies on the downtown waterfront, just east of Williams Memorial Park.
