The Shaw Mansion Historic House Museum is an elegant granite structure that was built by a wealthy merchant in the mid-1700s. Open for tours, the house features period furnishings and other memorabilia on the inside, and beautifully maintained grounds on the outside with a trellis, a latticed well house, brick paths, and a summer house. It lies in the heart of New London, near Williams Memorial Park.
